The Black House

With Dakota Elliott, a classmate, I prepared a report on the Center for Historic Preservation's Black House. We researched the history of the home, which was built in 1929 by the Black family of Murfreesboro, TN. The home itself is unique because many of the original features and fixtures are still intact, despite the fact the home was bought by Middle Tennessee State University in 1966 and has been in use ever since.
