Historic Traveller's Rest

During the summer of 2017 I worked for Dr. Susan Knowles on a project to update the National Register nomination for Traveller's Rest, the home of Judge John Overton. Built in 1799, the home was added to repeatedly over its long history and the National Register nomination required a more detailed architectural history and description. We used the resources at multiple archives to research the construction history of the home and created new floor plans and maps of the property.
