Edgehill Neighborhood Conservation Zoning Overlay

In October 2017, I began working with the Metro Historic Zoning Commission to create an architectural resource survey for the Edgehill area in Nashville. Edgehill, the neighborhood that is the subject of my thesis, is gentrifiying rapidly and its historic homes are completely unprotected from the tear-down fever that has hit Nashville. The architectural survey is part of the process to put a conservation zoning overlay in place in an attempt to slow the destruction. The overlay was passed in August of 2018.
